Little Hallingbury School believes that the views of its pupils should be heard.
We have an active School Council, with two children from each class elected onto it by their peers.
The School Council meets at least fortnightly; meetings are led by a Chairperson whilst minutes of the meeting are noted by a Secretary, both members of the School Council. A teacher is in attendance to offer advice and clarify details.
The School Council discusses issues that arise from regular Class Councils. They also plan and lead the organisation of special charity events that happen during the year; whilst they also make presentations in some assemblies to inform the school about important current news.
